Based on the Stonewall and Lambda Award winning novel of the same name by Abdi Nazemian, Only This Beautiful Moment is a stage musical about three generations of men in the same Iranian family —Moud (2019), Saeed (1978), and Bobby (1939)— as they navigate adolescence, forbidden love and family secrets. We move between and across time as these men learn how where they come from informs who they are - and whether the distance that has formed between fathers and sons can ever be closed.
